How to join IAT Technical

Applications are submitted through this website. All communication will be directed to the email and phone number you provide in your application.

01 · Select a programme

Choose from certificate in driving, diploma or certificate in plumbing, or diploma in survey.

02 · Submit identification documents

National ID, KCSE certificate or equivalent, and any programme-specific medical clearance.

03 · Complete induction

All students complete a safety and workshop induction before practical sessions begin.

04 · Practical assessment and certification

Assessment emphasises practical competence, supported by written or oral examinations where required.

  • National ID or valid passport
  • KCSE certificate or recognised equivalent
  • Medical fitness clearance where required by programme
  • Two passport-size photographs
  • 2 copies of national ID
  • KRA PIN
  • 3 passport-size photos
  • Valid driving licence copy (where applicable)
  • Safety boots and personal effects listed in joining instructions

No. Beginner cohorts follow a structured progression from induction through to supervised practical work.
